Book now for FASA's Golf Day on the 4th of October

As one of the highlights of the FASA calendar, the FASA Golf Day will take place on Friday 4th October on the popular Firethorn Course at the 83-year old Randburg Golf Course which offers world-class 18-hole golf courses, state-of-the-art facilities, and an array of leisure activities.

For those who enjoyed the Bushwillow Course in 2023, you can look forward to tackling the Firethorn Course, a challenging layout suitable for professionals yet accommodating to everyday members. Although the tough par 4 16th, treacherous par 3 17th and long and difficult par 4 18th – with water coming into play on all three holes – make for a particularly demanding and superb finish to the round.

FASA’s annual golf day is becoming the must-attend event of the year by getting together for an enjoyable game whilst networking and getting to know fellow colleagues in the franchise world. Thanks to generous sponsors, there are always great prizes to be won – both for the top players and those further down the ranks. This is the one occasion that allows franchisor members to socialise on a casual basis, invite their franchisees or suppliers to join them in a great game of golf and then celebrate a hard day’s play with an informal prize-giving and dinner.

Book your 4-Ball NOW!

Last year’s Golf Day was a full house with franchises from all sectors joining in and enjoying a great day playing and networking. The cost of entering a 4-ball team is *R 6 800 and

includes two carts, green fees, lunch and dinner but excludes caddies which would be for the player’s own account. Space is limited to 30 four balls, so booking early is essential.

Non-golfers can play Padel

The golf day is open to FASA members, their staff, franchisees, clients and suppliers but we are always aware that many non-golfers lose out on enjoying a day out so this year we have booked the Padel courts that have become so popular and are integral to the Randburg Golf Club. As golf is restricted to those who play regularly, we thought of adding another dimension to our golf day so that the non-golfers in your company can also join in our special day by playing a couple of rounds of Padel and then join the teams for the dinner.

We have booked the Padel courts from 15h00 to 17h00 which allows players to then join the golfers at the prize-giving event which takes place at 18h00. The cost to play is *R500 per court per hour. Rental rackets can be provided additionally at *R60 per racket and balls at *R169 per court. Attending the golf prize-giving dinner is optional and costs R 295 per person.
