FASA will, during the course of the year, put the spotlight on some of its new members that have joined the Association, committing to running ethical businesses and offering viable business opportunities.
Just Build, in 2020 marked 71 years of their unique way of doing business which includes living by the Just Build Values and Code of Conduct as well as their prescribed guidelines in Governance, Frameworks and Processes.
According to Naseem Badam, Just Build’s Managing Director, “Covid-19 presented us with many unforeseen challenges but fortunately we were able to deal with all the challenges presented. Our transition over this period has provided us with an opportunity to think strategically about the future as well as reflect on our past performance. As a group we applied ourselves to what our brands stand for and came up with a number of strategic plans covering the short, medium and long-term. Our expansion strategy involves opening seven new stores in KZN and two more in other provinces. We also intend doubling the size of our KZN Distribution Centre as well as manufacture certain KVI’s to increase our competitiveness as well as our ability to meet increasing demand.”
Just Build has identified ‘innovation’ as a key differentiation for future success. Firstly, they accelerated the need to launch their online store which now offers in excess of 1 300 as exclusive online deals. Secondly they will be launching their Just Build App in January for easy mobile access. Thirdly their Loyalty Card is now available and offers preferred discounts and keeps customers updated of the latest products and news from Just Build.
