Announcing their expansion into Canada – their 24th country, Kim Gubera, PIRTEK’s USA CEO welcomed Canada to their growing stable of international operations saying “it is a great opportunity where the sky’s the limit for wide-reaching territories and revenues. Despite the pandemic, PIRTEK has continued its growth over recent years, up 7% in sales and 28.5% in unit increase from June 2019 to June 2020. The company’s extensive growth and success has led PIRTEK to seek out more international markets.”
In Africa PIRTEK has both Franchise operations and Distributors when conditions suit this arrangement as well as in various of the mining areas throughout Africa, where it offers onsite workshop facilities, manned by trained technicians.
According to Kieron Goss, MD of PIRTEK Africa, the franchisor has opened or is in the process of opening 4 new Franchises. At the same time PIRTEK has or is in the process of converting 4 Franchises into 100% Black Owned Franchises in the Northern Cape, Limpopo and West Rand. “The Covid-19 pandemic has had an immense effect on business throughout the continent but PIRTEK has, in these difficult times, managed to maintain sales volumes and with the increased presence in African countries has managed to achieve a much higher volume of sales in Africa.”
