She is a food franchising specialist in the field of training, recipe development, costing and menu engineering. Elaine has worked for many franchises over the years, including KEG Pubs and Restaurants, McGinty's, Steers and Debonairs Pizza. She has a passion for recipes and menus and has taken her 20 years of practical experience in restaurants, catering units, hotels, conference venues and Hotel School and written a comprehensive course on how to cost your recipes and menu correctly, followed by how to design the content and layout of your menu, in a 5-day programme. This programme is not a general costing course and it specialises in costing formulas and practical ways to improve food costs and gross profit, based on recipe costing, effective operations and menu content. It's an interactive programme filled with practical content you will use every day in your career if you work with food.
