The Difference Between Chem-Dry and Other Carpet Cleaning Methods.
Chem-Dry uses the Natural® Chem-Dry’s patented system uses a unique, hot-carbonating process and a naturally based cleaning solution that is safe and non-toxic. The system employs a combination of heat and carbonation to help breakdown dirt deeply embedded in carpet or upholstery fibres. Millions of tiny effervescent bubbles lift the dirt to the surface, allowing it to be easily cleaned away rather than becoming further embedded into the fabric.
Chem-Dry secret lies in our cleaning process, which breaks the chemical bond certain elements form with carpet fibres, to fully remove stains without the use of chemicals or detergents. Our patented cleaning solution, The Natural®, is a simple carbon dioxide and water solution that derives its effectiveness from an understanding of chemistry and how it can be used to get stains out of carpets and other surfaces.
The Chem-Dry cleaning process also requires only one fifth of the water needed for steam cleaning and negates the risk of mould or mildew forming in between carpet fibres, while the cleaning process itself is much more gentle and suitable for delicate carpet fibres.
What is more, carbonation naturally tends to form a protective barrier of carbonate residue on the surface of the cleaned carpet that resists dirt as it doesn’t offer bonding sites for most soils.

The purchase price of the Franchise varies according to the level of investment determined by you. The options in this regard are set out as follows. As with most franchise systems, there is an initial fee payable which is a once-off fee of R 48,500,00 (Fourty Eight Thousand Five Hundred Rand) plus Vat for a Major Centre or R 38,500,00 (Thirty Eight Thousand Five Hundred Rand) plus Vat for Minor Centres. In addition there are the costs associated with the purchase of the equipment, cleaning solutions and promotional materials, selected by you. One can budget approximately as follows:

Royalties
Unlike most franchise systems, there are no royalties – what you earn is what you keep.
The only additional charge raised by us is that of a monthly service fee of R1,750.00 per month plus VAT escalating annually by the inflation rate as measured by the Consumer Price Index, or 10%, whichever is the greater. This covers administrative expenses of processing orders and maintenance of a head office structure geared to help you to achieve success.
