With customer service central to our mandate, candidates need business experience emphasising interpersonal skills and financial management. Car Service City`s head office and franchisee network is a family, so willingness to comply with the model, communicate with the franchisor and other franchisees, and live the Car Service City brand is essential.
Car servicing/mechanical knowledge is not a prerequisite as a franchisee is expected to run the business, not service the vehicles. Head office helps source and train excellent mechanics and managers to ensure the high standard of car servicing and repairs is maintained.
Every franchisee, branch manager and branch secretary are required to attend specifically designed, comprehensive training courses lasting four to eight weeks. The training includes all Car Service City procedures and standards, financial controls, administrative requirements and procedures, as well as staff management. On-going training regarding products and systems ensure that franchisees remain abreast of best practice and developments within the car service industry.
