Captain DoRegos was founded in 1971 by the DoRegos brothers with the first store opening at Grootte Schuur Hospital in Cape Town.
In 1993 the concept was converted to a Franchise brand with 8 initial franchise stores. The new owners came on board in March 2018.
After consolidating the brand, Captain Dorego’s is looking to expand the brand by ±10 stores per year over the next five years
The company owner, Mr Kiran Moodley has been in the retail and food trade for ten years.
Mr Moodley build several liquor businesses from ground level before venturing into the restaurant and pub trade.

We provide a well established recipe combined with a strong supply chain partner and operational support.
We are looking for entrepreneurs with a hands-on approach to business.
We require the store owners to be directly involved in the running of the business for at least the first year of trade. Successful applicants must have a good understanding of business principles including financial and marketing skills.
2-3 weeks for staff and 3-4 weeks for management
