I was involved in two franchise businesses before joining the Blind Guys Franchise group. Suffice to say, my previous franchise experiences were disappointing. Lack of interest from Head Office being the main reason. There was very little training besides annual Franchise conferences and the odd email. So when I joined the Blind Guys group, I was extremely surprised at the incredible attention paid by Wynand and his capable staff to the onboarding process and then the continual training thereafter. The focus was not only on product knowledge and how to do the job, but more importantly – product knowledge and how to do the job a million times better than our competitors. Wynand’s passion for excellence comes across in every training session and the team emphasises how important professionalism is – showing you step by step how to achieve this, down to seemingly minor details such as how you walk up to a customer’s house, and how you conduct a telephone conversation. I have never received such intense training, but also a sense of how important your success is to them. The result is, that Blind Guys is one of the most well regarded and well known brands in the industry. They have also worked very hard at developing solid, no nonsense relationships with the best suppliers in the business. If you are thinking of joining a franchise group, look no further than Blind Guys. I’ve been there and done that. This is where I’m staying for the long haul.
