We marinate our chickens for 48 hours in our own homemade secret marinade recipes that has been in the family for decades, which has a blend of amazing spices, to guarantee you’ll love every bite of this lip-smacking, finger licking good chicken. Best of all, you can be assured that every item on our tantalizing menu is not only fresh and healthy but affordable for all our clients. Everybody is delighted with Ko-lay’s generous portions combined with the great in-store vibrant atmosphere that enhances the relaxed enjoyment of the explosive and wonderful flavours.

Background and History

Ko-lay holds up our Proudly South African heritage by sourcing local produce and using 100% recyclable packaging and hoping to do likewise when entering other countries. Clean green, focusing on a healthy lifestyle philosophy. On the 19th of January 2016 Ko-lay opened its doors as a casual dining restaurant and take away. Ko-lay foods is the brainchild of Rajen Reddy and has become a symbol of so much more than your normal restaurant created by this visionary and creative entrepreneur. Rajen and his Ko-lay team believe in the bright future of Africa, embracing our cultural diversity and offering equal opportunities for all. Through the Ko-lay brand, Rajen and his team strives to not only offer the best quality food and excellent customer service but also to stimulate wealth creation by sourcing our chicken and produce from local farmers.
