Hot Dog Café was first recognised for its contribution to franchising in 2003 when it won the Franchising Association of Southern Africa`s `Newcomer Franchisor of the Year Award`. In October 2004 & 2005 Hot Dog Café was nominated for the Franchising Association of South Africa`s `Leading Developer of Emerging Franchisors` Award. In 2005 the Professional Catering Association named Hot Dog Café the `Franchisor of the Year`. In 2006, 2007, 2010, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 Hot Dog Café was awarded the Franchising Association of South Africa`s `Leading Developer of Emerging Entrepreneurs` Award. In 2008 Hot Dog Café was recognised as one of the top 30 franchise systems in the country by Standard Bank. In 2011 The Coffee Stop won the Franchising Association of Southern Africa`s `Newcomer Franchisor of the Year Award` and `Leading Developer of Emerging Franchisors` whilst Hot Dog Café was runner up. In 2014 Hot Dog Café received the award for Leading Developer for Emerging Entrepreneurs. Business Consultant- Mr Macayne Latchmanna won a Franchise Association of South Africa (FASA) Business consultant of the year in 2015. In 2016 Business Consultant-Mr Nanou Nsa, was a runner up in the same category. Mr Nanou Nsa went on to win the 2017 FASA Field Consultant of the year 2017.

Comprehensive training is offered to all franchisees and their entire team. Ongoing training. Empowerment franchisees receive mentorship.

Financial

Franchise fees from R7,500.00 ex VAT for a cart, Franchise Fee for E-Diner (containerised outlet) and bricks and mortar outlets from R50,000.00 ex VAT – full set up costs available on request. Management fee 11%.
