Ko-lay holds up our Proudly South African heritage by sourcing local produce and using 100% recyclable packaging and hoping to do likewise when entering other countries.

Clean green, focusing on a healthy lifestyle philosophy. On the 19th of January 2016 Ko-lay opened its doors as a casual dining restaurant and take away.

Ko-lay foods are the brainchild of Rajen Reddy and have become a symbol of so much more than your normal restaurant created by this visionary and creative entrepreneur.

Rajen and his Ko-lay team believe in the bright future of Africa, embracing our cultural diversity and offering equal opportunities for all.

Through the Ko-lay brand, Rajen and his team strive to not only offer the best quality food and excellent customer service but also to stimulate wealth creation by sourcing our chicken and produce from local farmers.

We guarantee you will find that Ko-lay is definitely the home of the most delectable, succulent flame-grilled Piri-Piri chicken this side of the universe.

We marinate our chickens for 48 hours in our own homemade secret marinade recipes that have been in the family for decades, which has a blend of amazing spices, to guarantee you’ll love every bite of this lip-smacking good chicken.

Best of all, you can be assured that every item on our tantalizing menu is not only fresh and healthy but affordable for all our clients.

Everybody is delighted with Ko-lay’s generous portions combined with the great in-store vibrant atmosphere that enhances the relaxed enjoyment of the explosive and wonderful flavours.

We believe that a great restaurant chain and franchise needs more than world class food, it’s also about our top-quality service, dedicated staff, generosity, family values and going the extra mile too that is an integral part of our success story.

You will find that Ko-lay is a people-oriented company; individuals concerned with our franchise owners. We provide an opportunity for you to develop a whole new way of life and take control of your future for the first time. It is an exciting time for Ko-lay and we hope that you take part in this stimulating and challenging franchise opportunity.

The concept of franchising, as working together between franchisor and franchisee, has been a principal ingredient in the development of Ko-lay. Our “Open Door” philosophy has been instrumental in establishing Ko-lay Franchise as one of the leaders in the industry.

By being a Ko-lay Franchise owner, you are not only part of a network of store owners, but also part of a very unique and exciting franchise system. Since we started Ko-lay, we have continuously worked on not only improving and refining our procedures, with items such as computerized pricing and management software but also seeking out ways to better serve our franchise owners as well as continually seeking out additional revenue streams for our Franchise Owners.
