DoughGetters Accounting™ operates a fully digital accounting business providing outsourced bookkeeping, accounting and tax compliance services to our customers from anywhere with an internet connection.
We are also App Integration specialists and provide consulting services to companies who wish to convert to the cloud and for those already in the cloud, we source apps that plug into the accounting and other systems to make our clients lives much simpler.
The master franchisor is Dough Getters (Pty) Ltd and trades as DoughGetters Accounting™. The founders of the business are Murray Barnetson CA(SA) and Willem Haarhoff CA(SA) who both have had successful multi-national corporate careers as Chartered Accountants collectively spanning more than 50 years.
In 2012 Murray founded Part Time FD™ in South Africa to provide outsourced financial director services to small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) with a strong focus on cloud accounting technologies and the traditional attention to detail. In 2013, Part Time FD™ became one of the first Xero Partners in South Africa and reached Bronze Partner status shortly thereafter. On 1 October 2016, Murray merged his business interests with that of Willem under the Part Time FD™ banner.
Financial director services are difficult to scale so the duo created DoughGetters Accounting™ in early 2017 to reposition and drive the Group’s outsourced accounting and tax compliance service business to become a pace-setting digital accounting business that does not only provide outsourced operational support to SMEs, but also to lead its clients into the 4th Industrial Revolution by guiding them with the design, creation and implementation of their own bespoke integrated digital eco-systems.
The Group continues to partner with Xero as its preferred digital accounting enabling platform and reached Gold Partner status during the latter half of 2018.
The Franchisor, nor any of its executive officers, has any other franchise operation, either alone or with others, in the past 5 years, and no such operation has been discontinued.
