Need an excuse to Braai every day? Then this is the Business for you.

CEO: Donovan Barnard

The progressive and dynamic management team of Hashtag Braai Franchising (Pty) Ltd assists the Franchisee in operating his/her business independently and within the framework of the Franchise Agreement, to its full potential.

With a team that boasts over 25yrs of combined Franchising and Restaurant and hospitality experience, we are fully equipped to provide the necessary support and fulfill the brand’s vision together with our Franchisees.

It’s simple – we’ve got a business that works, and we give you the opportunity to get in on the action!

A few things in this beautiful country sells like authenticity – we can sugar coat this franchise proposal with our local chutney, spice it up like biltong, or park it in front of our tourist-raving meccas and justify a ridiculous price spike… but we believe in the power of ‘real’. Just real meat, with real figures.

At #braai it’s all about ‘the meat’, ‘the eat’, and ‘the market’ – so what we offer is the authentic braai experience, packaged, marketed and ready for you to cash in on. What does this mean? It means that you can go from fired to starting your own fire? Here’s the dish, you decide…

A franchisee is an independent, entrepreneurial-minded individual (or group of individuals) who wishes to own and run his/her own business. The profile of an ideal franchisee encompasses:-

  • a passionate hands-on operator and will be involved in the day to day running of the #braai Franchised outlet;
  • not afraid of working long hours;
  • prepared to uphold the values of the brand;
  • totally service-orientated and people-friendly;
  • prepared to go the extra mile for their customers;
  • prepared to listen and learn;
  • prepared to add value;
  • proactive and not reactive;
  • non-discriminatory;
  • understands the importance of National Operating Standards;
  • understands that increased involvement at operator level equals increased profits;
  • has a good credit record enabling the raising of the necessary funds.

Before you may begin operating your store, you and your partners/managers and other employees identified, must attend the full #braai Training program (lasting 2 to 3 weeks) to #braai’ s satisfaction.

#braai offers comprehensive restaurant and business training and support, including in-depth brand induction.

We train your crew to ensure that they understand and live the #braai brand. This means a crew that is energized, equipped, informed and trained to provide excellent food with great customer service
