FASA's efforts to educate
FASA works relentlessly to promote franchising, its benefits and its challenges with the ultimate aim of educating the public and potential franchisees on what the business format offers, how to go about evaluating a franchise opportunity and above all to promote FASA members because of their commitment to ethical standards. At the International Franchise Expo, the FASA Directory, with its informative articles and listings is sold to the public and Speakers Corner this year had experts talking about franchising and successful franchisees telling their stories. FASA's online presence is managed by Romany Thresher who is continually talking, on Twitter and Facebook, about franchising's success and who encourages dialogue and feedback that raises the profile of franchising, develops an online presence for FASA and its members and positions us in front of our potential customers. To this end, a recent post by James Craig Warhaugh shows that our hard work is paying off - for franchising, FASA , and in this case Yale Security Point.
