For the second year the FASA Awards have been held alongside and as a climax to the International Franchise Expo (IFE) and the Franchise Convention. The Awards will not only showcase & honour the top achievers in our sector but have become our industry’s highest accolade and the vehicle through which FASA shows the world how successful franchising is.
Whether you’re a start out franchise or an established brand, there is a category for every type of operator and the awards are an excellent vehicle through which to highlight your franchise success and commitment to ethical franchising.
The Award categories include:
- Franchisor of the Year is the most prestigious of the FASA Awards honouring those franchisors who have made a significant impact in the marketplace.
- Franchisee of the Year acknowledges the role that franchisees play in franchising and franchisors are encouraged to enter their most promising franchisees for this award.
- Franchisor: Leading Developer of Emerging Entrepreneurs is the category that looks at the franchisor that has excelled in developing emerging entrepreneurs through an effective BEE strategy.
- Newcomer of the Year honours the innovative entrepreneurship of newcomers to FASA.
- Brand Builder of the Year salutes the efforts franchise companies make in successfully building their brand through innovative marketing and advertising.
Other awards categories that will be honoured at separate events linked to the FASA Convention include:
* Most Promising Female Franchisee of the Year
* Most Promising Black Franchisee of the Year
* FASA Entrepreneur 2010 Award
A hard copy of the Awards Entry documents will be delivered to the physical address of all FASA members by courier during the course of next week – alternatively electronic copies can be downloaded from the FASA website on www.fasa.co.za.
