FLOORS DIRECT – WALKING THE TALK

FASA member Floors Direct showed how innovative marketing can put a brand on the map.  The company set up the longest watering hole at the Discovery 702 Walk the Talk held in Johannesburg in August.  Manned by the staff of all of its Gauteng stores, more than 50 people handed out Energade and water from the 300m and 50table long watering hole.  Says Jose Dos Passos, Managing Director of Floors Direct, “with more than 20 000 people marching passed our station, it was well worth it and besides getting our brand out there we used it as a mechanism to do teambuilding amongst all the Gauteng stores, giving back to the community as well as support the efforts of the Laureus Foundation.
